What makes the Magic Jack device different from other similar services is that it's very portable and you can actually call real phone numbers for free. The recipient doesn't have to have magic jack to receive your calls. You can also use it with a normal telephone.
My Favorite feature about this device is the portability. It fits easily into your pocket. When you travel outside Canada or the USA, you can carry it along and make free phone calls back home. How to use Magic Jack?
Magic Jack is very simple to use. All you have to do is plug in the device into your usb port. The device automatically installs on your computer and you are ready to use it in about 1 minute. You then just need to plug in your telephone into the magic jack device or use a headset with microphone to make calls. It's so simple to use I have never seen a much simpler product to use than this.
To make calls simply lift your phone handset and dial the number you want call as you would normally do. Or if you are using the headset, then use the on-screen keypad to dial your number. It's really that simple.
For first time usage, you have to register, which is as simple as registering on any site. You then chose a USA area code and phone number. This is required. After this you then request a Canadian phone number for Canadian users
